It was a beautiful day, so we decided to cut my hair out on the back patio. My very special highly paid hairdresser (Chris) giggled and pointed out something I've never seen before. A GRAY HAIR!!!!!! I tried to convince her it was blond but it was way to white for that. It was really funny when I noticed salt-n-pepper gray in Ricky's hair and I laughed when a few of my lovely wife's hairs had the audacity to turn gray on her head. Now that the shoe is on the other foot I'm finding that this isn't funny at all! I'm too young to get gray hairs! It must be the kids. They're the only thing that would have the power to coerce one of my young hairs into turning to the white side. Chris says that keeping my hair short makes the gray very hard to see. If that's the case, I think I'll keep this haircut forever!

After Doo and Ricky's visit to Stroud, I was informed that my first Scooter Pic was causing some confusion. For the record, that first pic is NOT me!!!! I'm not that fat...yet. Anyway, the weather here has been absolutely beautiful so I decided to ride my hawg to work the last couple of days. It's really been great! It seems that my silver steed has grabbed the attention of quite a few of my coworkers because everybody keeps asking me about it. I am starting to daydream about a day when that parking lot is full of scooters! We could form a tough gang that roves around to local watering holes looking to wet our whistles and crack some skulls. That's still a ways off. So I'll have to make do with daydreams and posting this pic of me.

Myra's class had a visit from the dentist on Friday and it turns out that he taught them a whole lot. When she picked me up at school she imparted this pearl of wisdom to me:
"Daddy, there are bugs in your teeth and they like candy. When you eat candy, the bugs eat it too and then they poop in your teeth!"
I don't think I'll be getting Chris a box of chocolates for V-day after all.
Can you guess who it is? Here's a hint:

Halloween 1983 - Boo was an ... apple? I was a magical fairy. Now I can see where Myra gets her love for the colors pink and blue.
I like this one too!

Halloween 1984 - Boo looks like a yellow squash here. I was a Rainbow Bright Cheerleader Girl ... Don't ask.
I obviously got better with age but "Boo" ... What happened, Little Brother?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE BOO BOO! WE LOVE YOU!
Noah and Myra have both been a little under the weather this weekend. Noah has been coughing his head off and Myra has a double ear infection. Myra has been a GREAT BIG GIRL and taken all her medicine without a problem. I'm so proud of her. Noah, on the other hand, has been the total opposite. He kept us up some last night with his every minute cough. This morning, he was an absolute bear to give his cough syrup to. We asked him nicely, to no avail. We tried forcing him to drink it but that just didn't work. We made him sit at the breakfast table with nothing but that cup in front of him. He refused to drink it for an hour straight.
Finally, we played some good cop, bad cop. I was the bad cop and I gathered up a bunch of his cars. I started telling him to drink it or I'd throw his cars away. Chris, the good cop, kept trying to reason with him. I ended up tossing about 10 of them in the trash can and he came close, but no cigar. Finally, I grabbed his tonka truck and suddenly we started making progress. Within a couple of minutes, Chris coaxed him into drinking it all! Of course, we had to run out and save all of the cars from the trash before the trash man came and took them. He looked absolutely relieved...and his cough stopped.
