Blastoff!

| | Comments (0)

Today, after church, we hit McDonald's to treat Mom to a wonderful gourmet meal. Afterward, we let the kids play in the playground thingy and Noah climbed all the way up to the top because there was a rocket up there. Soon, we heard counting.
"1...2...3..."
We couldn't figure out what he was counting.
"4...5...6..."
What could there be up there?
"7...8...9...BLASTOFF!"
Ahhh a countdown...err, countUP. He knows they count before they shoot a rocket, but the counting DOWN part he hasn't quite figured out.

PS--NASA will tell you that reentry is the toughest part of a space flight and I'd have to agree. After Noah's "blastoff" he got spooked and wouldn't climb down. Mom had to climb up and drag him out. Happy Mother's Day!
