Next weekend, I'm going with some friends on a campout/mountain bike ride to Caprock Canyon State Park. Over Spring Break, Chris and I slept out in the tent at Granny and Papa's house and I found out that I'm too big a wimp to just sleep on the cold, hard ground. Yesterday, we went to Academy and found a twin inflatable camping mattress (and pump) for me to take on the trip. It was kind of bulky so Chris and her magic sewing machine swung into action. Using scrap material and an old shoelace off of one of my shoes, she put together a really cool bag for my bed and pump! I'm really impressed because it looks cool, works well, and only took her like 30 minutes to make! Here are some pics for you:
