The other night, we ate at Zio's, we had some of their French bread dipped into the mixed herbs and olive oil. Today, I decided to try and make some bread so we could have some of that home. During the cooking process, I had to call and ask Mom for some advice, so I thought I'd show her how it turned out. I followed this recipe from Suite101.com (first one that popped up on Google). The only change was substituting olive oil for shortning. It takes FOREVER, but the results were worth it. Chris had some dipping spice from Pampered Chef that was pretty good. Not as good as Zio's, but still tasty. Click the pic for a treat for your eyes!

I love ZIO's but we haven't eaten there in forever. Their spinach artichoke dip is to die for!
Beautiful bread! Maybe you should go to culinary school
